Our Church Ministries
On Sabbath morning, we get together for a welcome and presentation on growth and service from 9:30 to 10 a.m. On the first two Sabbaths of the month, we have individual programs in English and Korean. On the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sabbaths of the month, we have a joint program in English, with Korean translation.
Then from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. the kids, Adult English, and Adult Tagalag friends and guests separate for their individual lesson study classes. At the same time, the Korean Ministry group meets for their worship service in Korean.
At 11:30 a.m., the English Ministry group meets in the sanctuary for their worship service, and the Korean Ministry group meets for their lesson study classes.
For all of the lesson study classes, a variety of options are available.
At San Diego Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, we value the diversity that strengthens our church. That is why we offer four different adult Sabbath School Bible Study flavors.
We also have two English Bible Studies that meet at 10:15 a.m.
- The general and visitor class is called "SWEET SPOT." It focuses on teaching the main points of the lesson and discussing the application of those principles to our lives. We look for the key points that exemplify our relevant and present God in our lives. It is run like an interactive group. This is a safe place to come to listen, interaction, and apply God's word to our real lives.
- The "DEEP STUDY" group meets in the Fellowship Hall and is geared to those who have studied the Sabbath School Bible Study Guide and want to discuss the theological teachings that undergird the lesson.
Finally, several different Korean Bible Studies meet at 11:30 am in our upper building.
